- Responsible for managing S&PCI key relationships for American Strategic and Regional accounts.
- Develops and builds meaningful and lasting relationships with key and influential contacts.
- Understand the client's business priorities and needs. Act as an advocate and ensure customers are maximizing the value of their investment with S&PCI.
- Continuous investigative and collaborative contact with customers to gather strategic information about their business, understand their issues, uncover unrecognized problems providing solutions to them.
- Acts as a broker of capabilities or services for clients, advocates internally, and facilitates the involvement of sales and other functions to achieve common goals for the client and S&PCI
- Ensures client derives value from enterprise-wide licenses to maintain loyalty by working closely with the Commercial and Research organization, to drive increased usage and broad adoption
- NY, Calgary, or Houston based- no remote position.
- Proven experience of managing major or complex accounts, preferably in commodity or financial information provider role.
- Broad understanding of the energy industry including understanding the personas of front, mid and back-office functions, as well as analysts.

About the Role: Director, Relationship Management
The Relationship Management role is a position which can leverage knowledge of the energy industry to enhance relationships with Clients and help them maximize the value of their investments with S&PCI.
Due to the breadth of knowledge the Relationship Manager brings they are seen by the Client as the guardian of the strategic Client relationship, orchestrating the deployment of corporate-wide resources to provide value to S&P Commodity Insights' Strategic and key regional accounts
The Team:
The Relationship Management team is responsible for the development and maintenance of long-term relationships with defined Client base to ensure a high level of Client satisfaction and influence the broader adoption of existing and new services as well as the retention of existing business.
Responsibilities and Impact:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $88,000 to $130,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
