    In this role, you will be responsible for accurate and timely posting of payments to reservations, adjusting and transferring of funds and resolving issues for travel agents, client directs and internal team members as it relates to payments and commissions.


    A successful Revenue Accounting Specialist will:

    • Review adjustments and transfer requests via forms submitted through a workflow and complete the corresponding task to the reservation within required service level agreement timelines.
    • Apply credit card payments, checks, gift cards, travel credits, and other various forms of payment to reservations.
    • Adjust reservations for accurate commission calculations.
    • Address inquiries from client directs and travel agents as it relates to payments or adjustments with effective verbal and written communications.
    • Clear outstanding balances on various month end reports.
    • Support offshore and internal teams and troubleshoot on inquiries via email and designated chat.

    A successful Revenue Accounting Specialist will have:

    • Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
    • Travel experience or ALG experience of 2-3 years preferred.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong complex problem-solving skills, logic and reason to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, and an approach to issues.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and Power Automate throughout their role.
