    Description

    The Project Specialists will assist with managing provider education activities and events that advance the Healthfirst mission and vision. This position includes project management responsibilities to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and collaboratively work with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

    • Manages and organizes logistics for educational activities by working closely with internal Healthfirst departments and external stakeholders.
    • Monitors, reviews, and creates Delivery System Engagement processes and protocols to identify opportunities and issues that should be addressed
    • Monitors initiative progress, and requirements by working collaboratively with key stakeholders and communicate project and initiative goals, objectives, and responsibilities to partners for provider education events
    • Tracks all projects and initiatives focused on terms of scope and deliverable management and project timelines supporting provider education and other initiatives
    • Assists in resolving provider complaints escalated by internal and external business partners as needed
    • Ensures effective communications amongst cross-functional teams (including scheduling meetings and follow-ups, and managing weekly and/or monthly reports)
    • Additional duties as necessary
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
    • Direct experience working with managed care operations and/or health plans
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to take initiative and work independently
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Master's degree from an accredited institution
    • Cross functional experience in working as a liaison to internal and external partners
    • Experience in developing and delivering educational programs, preferably for clinical and office staff
    • Ability to work collaboratively, confidently, and influentially with various levels of stakeholders (internally and externally)
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities

    Hiring Range:
    • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $67,200 - $97,155
    • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $59,800 - $88,910
    As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.

    In addition to your salary, Healthfirst offers employees a full range of benefits such as, medical, dental and vision coverage, incentive and recognition programs, life insurance, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
