    Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Manager IHT to join our Population Health team.

    Unit/Position Summary The Manager IHT manages daily professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex/technical operational or production IHT teams.

    This role is differentiated by the Manager1 IHT based on business needs of the organization relative to complexity, budget, and number of direct reports and visibility of projects.

    + Oversees the evaluation, selection, and implementation of systems or technologies.

    + Determines business requirements and needs, identifies key performance factors, defines projects and priorities, establishes standards related to department/program operations; recommends and allocates resources based on business priorities.

    + Responsible for the planning, organizing and staffing of the department; makes decisions on personnel actions (hiring, terminations, promotions, etc.); assigns personnel to projects and directs their activities; reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reports.

    + Consults with personnel in other departments to coordinate activities; responsible for communication and acts as a liaison with internal departments.

    + Recommends strategies to assist the business in meeting its critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible; administers recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for business execution and identifies opportunities for improvement or efficiencies.

    + Supports the organization's strategy and service delivery standards; monitors service levels and key service delivery performance indicators or metrics, and identifies areas where performance can be improved through changes.

    + Helps develop long-term plans taking into account trends and changing organizational needs; decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from senior manager/director.

    + Advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures; evaluates and recommends changes to policies or procedures. + Possess expert knowledge of department systems, programs and technology. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


    Qualifications + Education:

    Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree + Experience: 6 years relevant experience + Licenses/Certifications: None Why St.
