- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business and Engineering or a related field. A Masters Degree is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the metal additive manufacturing ecosystem, whether in a business development capacity, as a user of metal additive manufacturing technologies, or in a related high-tech industry.
- Experience in market analysis, strategic business planning, and executing growth strategies.
- Experience in managing projects from conception to execution, demonstrating the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies and trends. Technical background in engineering or a related field is highly beneficial for understanding the products and services offered.
- Ability to travel up to 50% in the North America region (USA, Canada and Mexico)
- Must comply with ITAR regulations, therefore must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident.

Join the Additive Minds team at EOS, the global leader in industrial 3D Printing technology, and help shape the future of additive manufacturing. As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving growth and innovation within the additive manufacturing industry. You will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new markets, crafting strategic partnerships, and enhancing the EOS and Additive Minds brands.
Job Functions
What You Will be Doing:
· Market Expansion and Strategy: Identify, prioritize, and strategically target new and existing markets to expand our footprint. Collaborate with the global business development team and stakeholders to align efforts and maximize impact.
· Opportunity Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of potential business opportunities using advanced data analytics to inform and support strategic decisions.
· Advisor Management: Recruit, manage, and guide external advisors to gain deep insights and access to key markets, furthering our reach and understanding.
· Customer Enablement: Enable early-stage customers to define and implement an Additive Manufacturing strategy through customer specific workshops and positioning of Additive Minds (Academy) services
· Project Collaboration and Acquisition: Spearhead business acquisition efforts for Additive Minds, including Academy projects. Work in close collaboration with Sales and Project Engineering teams to design custom project roadmaps that meet client needs and advance our objectives.
· Brand Building: Elevate the Additive Minds brand by spearheading thought leadership initiatives, including the creation of whitepapers, articles, and conference presentations. Identify and leverage industry conferences for targeted lead generation.
· Tools and Scalability: Develop and refine tools and strategies to enhance the scalability and effectiveness of our business development and Additive Minds activities, ensuring we remain at the industry's cutting edge.
· Collaboration and Enablement: Work closely with EOS Sales teams and Channel Partners to empower and enable them, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual success.
