    About the Role

    Opportunity to join well respected property/casualty insurance company that has built a solid reputation on values of integrity, honesty, hard work and service to the community. We are seeking a Director of Finance to oversee financial operations and contribute to strategic initiatives.

    As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's financial functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning, to support strategic decision-making
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation strategies to optimize liquidity, mitigate financial risks, and support business growth and profitability objectives
    • Establish and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
    • Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluations to assess the company's financial performance

    Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA designation preferred
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the insurance industry
    • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, including GAAP and statutory accounting principles
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis

    Compensation, Benefits, & Perks

    $170k to $200k + bonus. 401k, pension plan, competitive benefits.
