As the Payroll Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our large workforce.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.Responsibilities
Oversee the entire payroll process, including calculating hours, deductions, and overtime, and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws
Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements
Manage payroll records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Coordinate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless data flow and resolve any payroll discrepancies
Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and communicate relevant updates to management and employees
Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax forms, and labor cost summaries
Maintain relevant payroll systems and software, making updates as necessary
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Proven experience as a Payroll Director or in a similar role, with a track record of success
In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures, laws, and regulations
Proficiency in payroll software and excellent computer skills
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
