    CFO – Chief Financial Officer

    FireFly Automatix, Inc. is an industry leader in AV and EV professional turfgrass mowing technology.

    We are seeking a strong Chief Financial Officer to help us continue our current growth trajectory and exciting next chapter.

    The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of FireFly Automatix's executive management team and is responsible for finance and accounting operations worldwide.

    This is a highly visible position that interfaces with other key members of our organization, including the Board of Directors, owners, investors, vendors/suppliers, management, and staff.

    The successful candidate will also develop and maintain a finance and accounting organization that supports the company's culture, strategic direction, and mission.


    Responsibilities:

    Report to the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.


    Help set the company's financial strategy and direction.


    Manage and drive the finance team to achieve mutually agreed goals.


    Discuss company financials and roadmap with investors and current owners.


    Oversee all accounting and finance functions.


    Lead our annual planning and monthly forecasting cycles and raise capital as needed.


    Actively support and advise the management team on overall financial performance and their individual area's financial performance.


    Expand our financial systems and processes.


    Ensure appropriate controls are in place and operating effectively.


    Be an integral part of our management team.


    Present financial results and plans to our Board of Directors and Executive Team.


    Maintain cap table and ESOP records


    Emphasis on financial statement preparation


    Risk Management


    Management of Data Room

    What You Need to Have:
    ·

    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. MBA preferred.
    ·

    CPA designation strongly preferred.
    ·

    10+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
    ·

    Big 4 accounting experience preferred.
    ·

    Public company/ capital markets experience.
    ·

    Experience in production and efficiency metrics, margin creation, and budgeting.
    ·

    Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
    ·

    Supply chain experience preferred.
    ·

    Experience building and managing a finance and accounting team.
    ·

    PCAOB audit experience
    ·

    Cash management
    ·

    Edgar filings – 10Q – 10K experience.
    ·

    Experience selecting and implementing new financial management systems.
    ·

    Experience designing and implementing controls – Sarbanes Oxley.
    ·

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    ·

    Energetic, results-oriented, and willing to be hands-on and personally engaged in details of the business.
    ·

    Experience with both startups and more mature companies.
    ·

    Experience with multi-entity and international subsidiary operations.
    ·

    Experience with capital raising and M&A.
    ·

    Experience presenting to a Board of Directors, banks and investors.
    Salary
    $175, , 000 DOE
