Role Summary
Support the entire CHD Cost Accounting System SAP ECC-driven business processes (Standard costs, Month-end closing, Quarterly forecast, Annual Plan) for the Supply Chain network.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Collaborate with multiple plants to ensure the precision and efficiency of the month-end cost accounting closure, confirming all plants are reconciled in SAP and adhere to SOX accounting standards.
Serve as a trusted business partner to the plants, offering guidance and support regarding HQ cost accounting standards, assisting with submissions, and proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Offer master data and standard cost support to all plants and contract manufacturing for planning and periodic price updates, ensuring timely and accurate release of standard costs in SAP.
Assist in consolidated reporting and analysis for the Supply Chain, providing insights into cost drivers and trends.
Issue Transfer Pricing to International Subsidiaries and provide price revaluation for Brand Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Execute monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring the integrity of the financial records.
Support internal and external audit processes by presenting documentation, explanations, and data analysis as required.
Education and Experience
BS in Accounting/Finance from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5+ years experience in cost accounting / financial accounting analysis role, preferably in a multi-product, multi-plant, multi-warehouse environment.
Corporate and or Divisional HQ Operations Finance experience preferred.
