A Medical Device packaging company in the New Britain area is looking for a senior Financial Analyst. This person will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting and then reflecting information in a comprehensible manner. They will be responsible for variance reporting and production reviews identifying errors and making corrections where needed. This will likely require time spent on the floor to collaborate with various team members in production and manufacturing.

This person will also be responsible for month and year end close and quarterly P&L reforecasting, and the annual budget.

This position will be 4 days on site in New Britain and allow for one day remote work. On average this person will work about 40-50 hours/week. Strong excel skills and attention to detail is a must for this role.

Prior Experience working in SAP

• Tableau experience (pulling data from)
• CMA Cert (Certified Management Accounting)
• Fluent in Vietnamese
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience working for a manufacturing company
• Experience with Standard Costing How to get absorption rate and analyzing month end vs standard
• Able to review journal entries- debits and credits
• Strong in depth understanding in accounting
• Proficient in excel- Pivot Table, V-Look ups, link in information, etc
• Problem Solving Skills
• Willing to get out on the floor and partner with operations.
