Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Business Management. Prefer MBA work experience.

Budget preparation, monitoring fiscal operations, and developing fiscal analysis on cancer research grants. Communication skills, ability to multitask proficiency in Spreadsheets. Ability to write, speak, and understand English.


Duties/Responsibilities:

A dedicated grants management officer is neededto carry out all essential activities surrounding the management of cancerresearch grants.

These activitiesinclude, but are not limited to the following:


  • Assist with the development of the Notice ofGrant Award (NOGA)
  • Logs all information in the appropriate document spreadsheets and routinely updates the document status.
  • Reviews the grantee budget submission to ensure accuracy based on funding and requests corrections as needed.
  • Reviews budget requests in accordance with the SAGE guidelines ensuring accuracy of funds budgeted and debited are accurate.
  • Reviews the proposed budget for compliance with the Federal Cost Principles and all applicable rules and regulations.
  • Provides administrative support to the management team as assigned by the contract administrator 1 (CA1).
  • Assists the CA1 with other assigned duties inaccordance with pre and postaward requirements.
  • Maintains the tracking system of the grant scores, evaluations,comments and leaderboards from the AIBS.

Up to $47.00 per hour

  • Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)


Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:

  • Trenton, NJ 08625: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
