- Obtains client information by answering incoming calls; interviewing clients; verifying information
- Assess client needs and assist with service referrals and connections
- Assist clients in completing Medi-Cal application

- Work with Navigators and other staff in supporting mutual clients

Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:The Client Services Specialist must be committed to the mission, vision, and services of Roots. This position is responsible for serving as the first point of contact for prospective clients and requires direct communication with clients to help determine eligibility or need for services.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
● Experience working in a non-profit organization or a community clinic preferred, but not required.

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:
● Frequent walking, standing, stair climbing, bending, stooping, lifting (25 lbs. max)
