Responsibilities:
Participate in the preparation, evaluation, justification, and maintenance of budgets and forecasts, and budgetary controls
Analyze financial data and generate reports to communicate financial results to management
Liaison with and support other departments and cross-functional teams
Assist in the production of periodic financial reports
Assist with data integrity
Collaborate with the team to achieve collective goals and contribute to related initiatives
Support internal audit function
Follow the best practices of finance and accounting standards
Perform ad hoc projects as assigned
Assist with accounting functions (AR/AP) and backup roles as needed
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

Requirements:
Working experience in QuickBooks required
Professional Experience using Microsoft Excel in preparing finanical reports

5 years of relevant experience, with a BS in Finance or Accounting field from an accredited University

GAAP proficiency
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong ability to multitask, stay organized, and take ownership of projects to see them through to completion
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Government contract accounting experience preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Demonstrated a history of problem-solving
