This is an on-site, exempt, full time position based in our Menlo Park, CA office. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.

What we are looking for in youThe ideal candidate will manage HR function independently and in line with the business strategic initiatives.
This is an exempt, full-time role based in our Menlo Park, CA office with a minimum of 3 days on-site each week.
What you will be doingPartner with the leadership team to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain HR database.
Elevate staffing processes (recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding).
Roll out management and employee development programs in line with business objectives and individual goals.
Develop and deliver training programs in line with corporate and individual needs and objectives.
Provide employees and managers with support and guidance on core HR processes (responds to and resolves increasingly complex issues).
Consult with and coach managers on a variety of employee relations, compensation, and policy matters.
Establish effective performance management cycle.
Maintain compensation program in line with the business strategy and market benchmarking.
Lead employee relations, engagement activities and design retention strategies.
Manage HR vendors, including but not limited to PEO, EOR, benefits providers, immigration attorney, and others.
Manage internal HR communication portals.
Effectively collaborate with finance, operations, and IT functions.
Assist with and/or manage IT operations.
Some office management support as needed (15% of the time).
Some executive support as needed (10% of the time).
What you should have
HR certification is a plus.
Experience managing PEO and EOR.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Proficiency with software and technology, Google suite, and MS office.
What you must have
A bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, or a related field.
5+ years of experience managing HR function for a small organization independently.
