GENERAL SUMMARY

This Project Coordinator will be responsible for running projects from beginning to completion to ensure customers are satisfied and needs are met through project evolution. This individual will uphold standards and requirements for assigned projects through quality assurance and quality control tests. Serve as the primary point of contact both for customers and installation team and communicate project updates and status changes as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determine project changes from initial bit to current, including change orders.
Coordinate activities, equipment, and information such as ordering of materials for each site, working with vendors, and overseeing procurement.
Break projects into doable action plan and meet or set timeframes including change orders.
Maintain, manage, and allocate project budgets.
Relay scope of work (SOW), prints, and any site-specific data to installation technicians.
Develop project strategies to expedite installations with leads or techs on site.
Monitor project progress and address issues and concerns as they arise.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives for installation.
Maintain communication with customers and send closeout documentation to customers upon project completion, as well as internal accounting department.
Assign tasks to team members and assist with schedule coordination and ongoing management.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years low voltage experience required.
Prior experience working on construction sites highly preferred.
Prior project management experience a plus.
Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams), Adobe Acrobat, general video editing software.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as necessary.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Prior experience in a customer service environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Majority of time spent sitting at a desk.
Audio, visual (including color recognition), and verbal functions are vital aspects of performing the duties of this position.
Regular and reliable in-person attendance.
Shift work (24/7 working environment) may require flexibility.
Overtime and weekends as required.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
