    We are a third generation, family owned and operated, independent insurance agency. Our company is looking for a Licensed Personal Lines Insurance Agent to assist our customers with all their insurance needs. You will work with multiple insurance carriers to determine the best placement of new business and renewals. This position is responsible for servicing all of the client's needs throughout the policy term. We encourage you to build your own wealth/success by having a generous commission earning program for our employees. You will need excellent communication skills, along the technical ability to work on multiple insurance platforms. Prior experience in sales, customer service and rating systems is preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    • Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients
    • Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs
    • Resolve client inquiries
    • Look for opportunities to cross sell between personal and commercial lines.
    • Develop professional relationship with the many carriers with which we place business
    • Work efficiently to provide the best service for your book of business
    • Comply with insurance standards and regulations
    • Track and identify areas of improvement

    Qualifications:

    • P&C License preferred. Willingness to obtain license.
    • Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or other related fields
    • Ability to build rapport with clients
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask
