    Description

    This is a 6-month contract that is currently on a hybrid work schedule. This consultant will be responsible for reviewing/validating high risk KYC files, providing guidance on regulatory issues as needed, reviewing daily transaction reports and submitting professional feedback on other reports.

    Client Details

    Our client is located in Midtown NYC and is one of the largest French International Bank's. This client has been around for over 50 years and has locations globally.

    Description

    • Report directly into the Compliance Director and work with other teams that include Client On boarding, Front Office, IT and Head Office Compliance personnel.
    • Responsible for reviewing and validating high risk KYC files
    • Provide required guidance on the bank's AML and/or sanctions related issues on proposed transactions
    • Compose and submit a professional opinion on the completeness of the KYC files in adherence to the bank's policies and procedures
    • Review daily transactions to ensure compliance and that they are up to standards within BSA/AML.
    • Review daily reports and reconciliations of daily transaction reports.

    Profile

    • Bachelor's degree or higher
    • CAMS is preferred but not required
    • Strong understanding of AML and OFAC US regulations
    • 2-5 years experience in BSA/AML and Sanctions area
    • Local to Midtown NYC and immediately available for work
