Description
Job Summary
QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination or experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree in construction management, business administration or related field and five years increasingly responsible experience in construction, maintenance, landscape, custodial, transportation, operations and repair of buildings including four years in a supervisory capacity.
DOJ fingerprint clearance and TB clearance.Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Valid California driver's license.
Within 60 days of hire, provision of TB (tuberculin) clearance, as mandated by the California Education Code.
Experience working in a school district or educational setting is desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES &
DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Chief Business Officer or designee, plan, organize, control and direct operations and activities involved in the inspection, cleaning, new construction, maintenance and repair of District buildings; facilities, grounds and equipment.
Manage transportation services to the District. Assist in facility and modernization planning and implementation. Lead and manage communications, personnel and resources to meet District maintenance, operations, facilities and transportation planning needs. Assure smooth and efficient departmental activities. Supervise, evaluate and develop the performance of assigned personnel.Requirements / Qualifications
