In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with teams to maximize the potential of our SoC products, bringing together NVIDIA GPUs, custom processors and accelerators under the most extreme of conditions.
Our SoC architects excel at pushing the state of the art, while making the best engineering trade-offs
What you'll be doing:
Build and use architectural modeling tools to drive hardware architecture decisionsWork with product development teams to optimize application performance, taking advantage of diverse SoC hardware resourcesProfile and debug SoC application performance, tracing through complex application/driver/OS software stacksModel and debug SoC hardware performance pre and post-siliconModel performance, , and perf/area, and analyze tradeoffs throughout the design processWhat we need to see:You have an MS degree in computer or electrical engineering or equivalent experience5+ years of architecture and/or software development experience, mapping applications to complex SoC hardwareVery strong software development skills (C++) and a deep knowledge of OS/driver software stacks, e.g., Linux/QNX/WindowsComfortable communicating and solving issues at different levels from micro-architecture to system and software architectureExcellent analytical, written, and verbal interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a global teamWays to stand out from the crowd:Additional software skills such as SystemC modeling, OS/driver/real time software developmentDeep learning model developmentNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers.
