    Description

    Title:
    Software Engineer IV

    Location:
    Remote in the United States (or Denver, CO - 1x per week onsite)
    Travel: 1x per Quarter to Denver, CO

    Compensation:
    $135,000 - $150,000 annually (actual pay within this range depends on experience)

    Please note that we are unable to support C2C or 1099.


    This role can be worked remotely from anywhere in the United States, however quarterly travel to the HQ in Denver is required for meetings.

    We are partnered with a growing organization seeking a Software Engineer IV to join their growing team. You will report to the Manager of Software Development. You will design and implement technological solutions using Core Java, Angular, and AWS in an Agile/Scrum environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    Designs and implements technological solutions using Core Java, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Search Index.
    Performs REST API design and implementation using Java.
    Designs and develops UI applications using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
    Serve as a team lead, coordinating code and design reviews, as well as key project deliverables.
    Performs automated testing using Selenium, Postman, and pgTab.
    Designs, develops, and supports next-generation web-based SaaS solutions.
    Designs and develops data architecture, data definition, and data manipulation structures in Postgres SQL.
    Implements all aspects of development, including the database, presentation layer, middle tier, and system interfaces.
    Maintains, modifies, and improves existing applications.
    Coordinates with the offshore development team, participating in daily standup meetings, and performs code and design reviews.

    Key Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 years of additional work experience.
    8 years of experience designing and implementing technological solutions using Java.
    3 years of experience designing and developing UI applications using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
    Experience serving as a team lead and coordinating code and design reviews, as well as key project deliverables.
    Experience performing REST API design and implementation using Java.

    Possesses a broad understanding of Agile/LEAN principles and the ability to apply the agile methodology, being a competent AGILE team member.

    Knowledge of cloud technologies.

    Ability to define how the work should be done; takes ownership of issues and works effectively both within and outside the team to influence and drive results.

    Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
    Identifies, implements, and applies best practices.
    Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts.

    Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
    Understanding of architectural principles is preferred.
    Experience in AWS, especially EC2, SNS, SQS, S3, SES, ESS is preferred.
    Experience performing automatic unit testing with automated test frameworks is preferred.

    Compensation:
    $135,000 - $150,000 annually (actual pay within this range depends on experience)
