    Description

    LHH is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist with 2 or more years of Accounts Receivable experience for a full-time job near Holland, MI.

    The AR Specialist will focus on cash application, researching discrepancies and process invoices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Applies payments received from all sources to customer accounts and / or GLs
    • Completes appropriate follow through to resolve unidentified payments or discrepancies associated with the processing of invoice payments
    • Processes client refunds and credit memos
    • Creates and distributes third party billing / invoicing as required by BDO customers
    • Communicates with external and internal professionals regarding issues and/or questions related to payments
    • Partners with Collections practice to ensure proper application of firm funds

    Qualifications:

    • One or more years of direct Accounts Receivable experience
    • Cash application experience preferred
    • High School diploma required
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred

    Skills:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
    • Financials experience preferred
    • Capable of working and communicating effectively with professionals at all levels

    Experience:

    • Two (2) or more years related accounts receivables experience, required
    • Prior experience with multi-location companies, preferred
    • Prior experience in professional services, preferred
