    Job DescriptionA Day in the Life of An Assistant Property Manager

    HomeRiver Group is seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager with exceptional customer service skills and administrative experience to join our dynamic team. The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, providing outstanding service to residents and prospective tenants, and contributing to the overall success of our properties.

    As our Assistant Property Manager, you will support the Property Manager in various tasks including: Providing excellent customer service to prospective and current residents. Conducting property tours and responding to inquiries via phone, email, and text. Processing applications and assisting tenants throughout the rental process. Handling administrative duties such as violation notices and occupancy management. Proactively marketing available properties to maintain occupancy.

    Qualifications for an Assistant Property Manager:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • One year of administrative experience.
    • Valid driver's license and proof of personal insurance.
    • Computer proficiency with the ability to learn various software programs.
    • Experience with G-Suite applications and Microsoft Office.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Energetic, outgoing, and self-motivated.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Attention to detail and quality in task completion.
    • Availability to work occasional weekends for open houses.

    Work Schedule:

    • This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour lunch. Occasional weekends may be required for open houses.
