Kass Management is seeking full-time Property Bookkeepers to handle a portfolio of rental properties or HOAs. The property bookkeeper is responsible for all day-to-day functions on behalf of a portfolio.

Daily interactions will consist of the following but is not limited to owners, residents, vendors, and property management team members.

The property bookkeeper should be organized and detail oriented.


Essential Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Understanding of Real Estate accounting
  • Payables and receivables for assigned portfolio
  • Electronic Banking & Bank Reconciliations
  • Maintain files and handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Coordinating of move ins/outs including but not limited to collection of fees, deposits, as well as administrative setup for new residents and homeowners
  • Management of all documents including COIs and meeting minutes
  • Administration of all refi document requests
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
-
Experience - At least 1 year experience in property bookkeeping/management

Customer service: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to maintain professional disposition and presentation while exercising judgment and discretion in work while remaining calm under pressure. Great follow-up and follow-through.

Organization and accuracy: Strong time management, organization, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. The ability to maintain accuracy and balance it with timeliness.

Software: Yardi Voyager, HomeWise Docs and Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred


Pay:
$60, $68,000.00 per year
