    Description
    Manager I (226 Days)-(RTP Description
  • Directly manage Instructional Specialist Leads and support them to manage their assigned Instructional Specialists; develop schedule for Specialists and troubleshoot all logistical concerns.
  • Manage a continuous improvement model through instructional specialists who support PreK - 2nd grade teachers throughout the district.
  • Support lead specialist who supports PreK - 2nd grade teachers and classroom instruction in all classrooms and feeder patterns assigned by the Director of Programs and Partnerships.
  • Liaison with the Early Learning Instructional Strategy team to develop and implement a training program for Instructional Specialists.
  • Develop systems and performance evaluation standards to assist Instructional Specialists and Leads in performing their duties and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate the training for Specialists by working with the Early Learning Instructional Strategy team to create coach-specific training.
  • Achieve and maintain reliability on CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) for both PreK and K-2 teachers.
    • Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
  • Preferred Master's Degree from an accredited university in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
  • Required Valid Texas Teacher Certificate with required endorsements for subject and subject level assigned.
  • Required 5+ direct years in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing educational programs in an early learning setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of early learning program and best practices, including coaching-based support.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in working with children from various demographic areas and diverse ethnicities.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in managing multiple subordinates.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage external parties and build relationships.
