The Schwarz IT team manages the entire digital infrastructure and all software solutions for companies within the Schwarz Group. This includes the selection, provision, operation, and further development of IT infrastructures, platforms, and business applications. In order to support the business processes of various departments with optimal IT solutions, Schwarz IT consults with these departments to understand their requirements and collaborates with them to develop professional and high-performance IT solutions.

Together with the Sustainable Packaging team of the PreZero Foundation, we are working on innovative software solutions to continuously optimize the recyclability of packaging and further expand the PreZero mission of closed loops. This year, we have successfully launched a tool for evaluating the recyclability of packaging on the market through our own developed software solution. Now, in a new project, we are taking the next evolutionary step by integrating this solution into the processes and systems of Lidl and Kaufland, developing an automated packaging recognition solution.

Your responsibilities:

Take on technical project responsibility on the IT side, working closely with the overall project leader and the head of the software development team
Structure and coordinate technical and methodological requirements and translate them into development sprints
Establish and coordinate a development strategy
Review and approve implementations from a technical perspective
Provide IT consulting to the department on current trends in sustainable packaging management
