Job Summary
Cross-Department Collaboration
Serve as a culinary liaison to Events, Membership, Sales, and Creative teams supporting proposal development tastings and custom menu presentations.
Collaborate with sales and events leadership to align culinary offerings with member expectations budgets and brand positioning.
Support tastings high-level presentations media requests promotions and photo shoots as needed.
Responsibilities
- Private Events & Catering Leadership Own lead all culinary aspects of private events banquets off-site catering and bespoke dining experiences for members their guests Execute high-touch customized menus for corporate offices private residences member-hosted events ensuring discretion consistency excellence Oversee pantry refrigerator restock programs including menu curation sourcing production packaging standards delivery execution Ensure flawless execution for events ranging from intimate dinners to large-scale high-profile functions Menu Development & Culinary Innovation Develop implement event-specific seasonal member-driven menus in collaboration with the Culinary Director Executive Chef Chef de Cuisine Create refined transport-friendly menus maintaining integrity presentation quality across off-site environments Lead culinary R&D special requests alternative dietary needs unique activations Maintain strong understanding luxury catering trends global influences modern service styles Operational Excellence Direct all banquet catering production under guidance of the Executive Chef Culinary Director Maintain rigorous quality control consistency presentation standards across all event formats Overseer inventory purchasing vendor relationships cost controls for events operations Identify onboard new specialty vendors purveyors premium offerings Develop systems SOPs off-site execution packing transportation service standards Leadership & Team Development Lead train mentor banquet catering staff fostering professionalism accountability hospitality Partner CDC Sous Chefs staffing scheduling execution Participate hiring coaching performance management disciplinary actions Compliance Safety Ensure full compliance HACCP ServSafe local health regulations on-site operations Maintain highest food safety sanitation emergency preparedness Preferred Qualifications A.O.S Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional training 5+ years progressive experience senior banquet leading minimum 3 years Private Members Service Leader Demonstrated experience luxury hospitality fine dining boutique hotels estates bespoke companies Strong background batch production compromising Presentation ability execute client-driven menus discretion attention detail Deep knowledge cost planning operational efficiency ServSafe Certified promptly Exceptional organizational communication skills
