- The Accounting Manager directs the daily financial operations of advisory entities.
- Ensure prompt, accurate accounting and reporting, maintaining multiple entities and accounts.
- Plan analyses for internal and external requirements.
- The Accounting Manager trains and directs team members on technical accounting requirements and processes.
- Conduct regular team meetings and work closely with the Controller on various tasks.
- Review team members' work for accuracy and thoroughness.
- Supervise the yearly audit process with external auditors.
- Support the Controller with internal budgeting and cash analysis procedures.
- Work on special projects and initiatives.
- Implement new accounting adoptions and treasury processes.
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years of specialist accounting experience, including at least 4 years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
- Previous experience managing teams.
- Capability to see both broad perspectives and fine details.
- Exceptional organizational ability to prioritize tasks for oneself and the team.
- A reliable, strong work ethic with a team-oriented approach.
- Aptitude to understand, compile, and analyze data.
- Consistently portray professionalism and confidence.
- Ability to thrive in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment, managing multiple assignments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
- A CPA certification is preferred.
