    Description

    Adecco Creative is collaborating with a leading brand in New York City to hire for a temporary to permanent Designer position. This role involves 4 days onsite, 1 day remote, and focuses on womenswear cut & sew knits.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Creates detailed product sheets for individual styles, outlining branding placement, techniques, and top stitching
    • Ability to adjust print artworks color
    • Develops registered embroidery with clear instructions for factories and provides feedback
    • Creates initial tech packs for new styles
    • Assists in proto fittings and communicates sketch updates to cross-functional teams
    • Maintains the design presentation board
    • Collaborates with senior designer on conceptual sketches
    • Manages linesheets, including sketch updates, style colorways, and inspiration layouts, and develops color guides for collections
    • Assists in sample organization and presentations
    • Collaborates closely with managers, factories, and cross-functional partners

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of 4 years of design experience, specifically in cut & sew knits and wovens
    • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
    • Prior experience working with overseas factories and cross-functional teams
    • Proficient in handsketching
    • Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Centric PLM
    • Effective problem-solving abilities and adaptability
    • Capable of innovating designs and introducing fresh concepts
