    Job Description and Duties

    DIR is seeking a motivated individual to serve as the Department's Records Management Coordinator. If you have a passion for coordinating records functions and excel in a hybrid work environment allowing both telework and office presence across California, then the Business Services team at the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has a role for you. As the Records Management Coordinator, your responsibilities will include providing ongoing assistance and training on records management best practices, overseeing records retention schedules, and managing the transfer, storage, and destruction of records. Additionally, you will handle service contracts for various business needs and support procurement and fleet tasks for the branch, offering opportunities for innovative problem-solving. This position provides a chance to collaborate with various DIR teams, contributing to the mission of enhancing working conditions for California employees while fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace with room for career growth.
