    Job Overview

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and oversee general accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax-related matters.
    • Manage cost accounting activities including labor costs, overhead cost distribution, inventory valuation, and cost analysis.
    • Prepare and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for managerial review.
    • Establish and execute systems for collecting, analyzing, validating, and reporting financial data.
    • Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to comprehend and control product costing, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on manufacturing process costs.
    • Coordinate and lead budget preparation, financial forecasts, and variance reporting.
    • Ensure adherence to internal policies, relevant regulations, and legal requirements.
    • Develop and document business procedures and accounting policies to uphold and enhance internal controls.
    • Interact with external auditors and supervise internal controls assessments.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
    • Demonstrated expertise in managing labor and manufacturing costs, as well as financial reporting.
    • Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
    • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of effective team management.
    • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting software.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
    • Proven aptitude to steer the company's financial planning through performance and risk analysis.
