Skanwear provides a globally compliant, climate compatible, lightweight solution in protective clothing & PPE for the electrical industry to protect against electrical Arc Flash Blasts. Our STRATA brand of clothing is designed, manufactured, and delivered directly to customers in over 82 countries worldwide within five working days. Skanwear has introduced the Skanwear Academy, dedicated to the education and promotion of electrical safety in the workplace, offering crucial, accurate, up-to-date, life-saving information and resources.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid role as a National Account Manager - North America. The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing key customer accounts and developing new business opportunities. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, conducting sales presentations, and providing exceptional customer service. The candidate is ideally located in Chicago, IL, but there is flexibility to work from an other East or Central Time location, ideally with a commutable distance of a good airport.

    Qualifications

    • Strong sales and account management skills
    • Experience in the electrical industry or related field
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented
    • Ability to work independently and remotely
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
    • Ability to travel interstate and also to the UK Head Office for Strategically important meetings
