    POSITION OVERVIEW FOR SENIOR CONTROLLER
    Agilitech is seeking a highly motivated Senior Controller. Under the direction of the CFO, the Sr. Controller is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the company. The Sr.

    Controller is responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques, and practices appropriate within the industry.

    The controller is also responsible for overseeing the accounting department.

    Pay Range$110,000-$180,000 Annual Salary (Exempt)
    Annualized base compensation, with additional compensation components. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.

    The Senior Controller position could lead into a potential CFO role for the right candidate and pay range would be negotiable.

    Requirements

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SENIOR CONTROLLER
    In support of the CEO/President/COO/CFO, plans, develops, organizes, documents, implements, directs and evaluates the organization's fiscal function and performance.
    In support of the CEO/President/COO/CFO, participates in the development of the corporation's plans and programs as a strategic partner.

    Oversees the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits and annual budgets.

    Develops credibility for the accounting group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO/President/COO/CFO, the Board and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.

    Enhances and/or develops, documents, implements and enforces policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.

    Works with banking relationships to provide information requested timely, ensures compliance with covenants, works to strengthen the relationship and reduce interest and banking costs.

    Works with CPA to provide timely information to prepare tax projections and annual GAAP reporting.
    Assists with complying with tax reporting rules and timely payment of taxes.

    Works with Insurance Agents/Captive and Human Resources Manager to provide information timely and accurate schedules to have the correct insurance in place to reduce exposure and control insurance costs.

    Establishes credibility throughout the organization and with the Board and CEO/President/COO/CFO, as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.

    Provides technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the accounting group.
    Coordinates the continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting department budgets.
    Develops and documents standard accounting and financial management procedures to support continuous operational improvement and function.

    Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization; i.e., evaluation of potential new business endeavors, alliances, acquisitions and/or mergers and retirement funds, health benefits and investments.

    Optimizes the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
    Develops a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
    Be an advisors from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.

    Evaluates the Accounting Department's structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals.

    Assists in the establishment and implementation of overall company and divisional Annual Operating Plan(s) (AOPs).

    Prepares and provides deviation and variance reports to decision makers on a reasonable basis for all monthly periods in accordance with AOP.

    Provides support to divisional managers for improvement of business processes, including financial statement analysis and other needs as determined in conjunction with CEO/President/COO.

    Supervises, reviews, and provides compliance of all tax accounting and reporting, including payroll tax and other governmental regulatory reporting.
    Manage Month-End Close.

    Finalize and close out all monthly financial activity and prepare financial statements, review amortization and depreciation schedules, prepaid and accrued expense schedules, and reconcile bank statements and cash receipts.

    Analyze financial and operational data to provide real-time, meaningful recommendations and implementing actions based on findings. Identifies trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
    Performs other related duties as assigned

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE FOR SENIOR CONTROLLER
    Bachelor's degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred), advanced degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
    Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with three + years in a leadership capacity
    Thorough knowledge of GAAP
    Must be an advanced level Excel user proficient with vlookups, pivot tables, and advanced data analysis.
    Must be proficient in MS Office applications such as Outlook and Word.
    Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One experience
    Procore a plus

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
    Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
