    Key Account Manager based in Michigan/Wisconsin

    Travel required on a regular basis

    Overview of Key Account Manager Position:

    The Key Account Manager is tasked with managing clients in the assigned territory within the Specialty distribution channel. This role involves fostering strong client relationships, understanding client needs, and advocating for our company's solutions to ensure mutual satisfaction. Additionally, the Manager will focus on expanding our business through new product offerings. The primary objective is to strategically enhance our partnership with key customers while exploring growth opportunities in various categories.

    Key Account Manager Key Responsibilities:

    • Create annual plans to drive product diversification initiatives and enhance average sales price

    Participate in annual budgeting for the designated area and achieve monthly revenue and margin targets

    Provide accurate monthly forecasts with risk mitigation strategies and capitalize on opportunities

    Offer weekly tracking and reporting on Key Account performance

    Conduct regular site visits to gather information and build rapport with store personnel

    Analyze data to formulate strategic approaches for routine client line reviews

    Cultivate trust with key clients to gain industry insights for informed decision-making

    Collect and report essential marketing data as required

    Collaborate with Regional Inside Sales Representative to meet objectives

    Address and resolve key client concerns and disputes

    Lead contract negotiations with clients and establish performance timelines

    Key Account Manager Qualifications and Skills:

    • Results-driven and demonstrated track record of success

    Proficient in negotiation techniques

    Strong analytical abilities to formulate effective action plans

    Self-motivated and proactive

    Exceptional communication skills

    Minimum five years of prior experience in sales account management

    2- or 4-year degree in a relevant field
