- Build and maintain a sales pipeline of prospective new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Achieve new account goal openings in assigned territory quarterly and annually;
- Ability to research and qualify prospects and show them how Mine Tan and/or Lee Stafford can help them grow their service and retail profits;
- New business growth by successfully opening 20 new accounts per year;
- Provide ongoing successful sell in to existing clients;
- Manage optimum inventory levels at accounts with a comprehensive consulting approach and work with inside sales to place new orders;
- Provide comprehensive business reviews, sales technique support, staff incentives and consumer events;
- Plan, manage, and participate in events as driven by event/launch calendar;
- Recognize and coordinate client education needs to ensure successful and knowledgeable sell thru of products;
- Facilitate in-salon events and product knowledge classes;
- Use SalesForce CRM to maximize effectiveness i.e.; set up agendas, log in activities from meetings and note follow up visits;
- Work independently from a home office, while managing a consistent meeting calendar with accounts;
- Represent the company with a positive attitude and strong work ethic that will maximize sales and revenue growth;
- Manage the territory by establishing and employing efficient and productive field coverage with the direction and support of the Sales Manager
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in B2B sales in the beauty and/or hair-care industry;
- Proven experience in business development and new business prospecting
- A professional diploma in aesthetics or cosmetology highly preferred
- Educator skills; experience in conducting product knowledge classes, highly preferred
- Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze issues and propose solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to create business relationships.
- Computer proficiency with Google docs, Google Meet, Salesforce and new programs as implemented
- Ability to spend 75% of the time traveling within the assigned territory

We are seeking an experienced sales consultant looking to join our passion-filled journey with a focus in the salon industry. We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Sales Consultant to support growth and drive the sales objectives and direction of two of our brands - Mine Tan and Lee Stafford. The Brand Sales Consultant is responsible for developing sales and relationships with distributor partners, salons, spas, beauty supplies and resorts within the territory. This is an opportunity for an experienced consultant to use their skills and expertise to open new accounts and drive sales revenue of existing clients to the achievement of goals and monthly sales targets.
