Financial Analyst

Farmingdale & Queens, NY

Our client, a large healthcare services corporation, is hiring for a Financial Analyst position in Suffolk County, NY. Qualified candidates will have completed their Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and have five or more years of financial analysis experience within a healthcare environment. You will work closely with the company CFO in the preparation of financial reports and analysis for the company. This is a great opportunity to join a growing corporation and gain valuable experience in finance with a direct line to the CFO. They offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes; health insurance, generous paid time off, 401k. This role will be fully onsite for the first few months, then go to a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office. You will be required to work out of the healthcare facilities in Queens at times, so you must be open to both locations. Salary ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 depending on prior experience.

Responsibilities for the Financial Analyst job include:

Create and update financial reports focused on revenue and general operational metrics
Assist in the standardization of finance processes and procedures
Tracking key performance indicators internally and against competitors
Ad hoc reporting and project work to improve systems and processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
Five or more years of financial analysis experience in the healthcare field
Strong technical skills in Excel (Pivots, Lookups) and a major ERP system (Oracle, SAP, JDE)
Self-motivated, driven personality
