    LCA is accepting applications for the position of Development Coordinator.

    The Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, managing, and preserving the integrity of the donor database by tracking revenue through constituent data entry and management, gift processing, and acknowledgment with a sharp focus on stewardship. The Coordinator analyzes data to inform decision-making and supports portfolio management for the Director of Development and Head of School.

    The Coordinator will:

    • Manage data in Raiser's Edge donor database to ensure record accuracy and completeness:
      • Create and update constituent records
      • Record donations accurately utilizing appropriate funds and appeal codes
      • Generate donor acknowledgment letters and gift receipts
    • Maximize the functionality of the donor database by identifying and implementing best practices to most effectively manage all stakeholder data
    • Act as the primary lead for donor database projects, updates, and conversions
    • Think strategically about donor engagement, segmentation, and appeal opportunities. Working with the Director of Development on campaigns and marketing initiatives to best reach key constituencies.
    • Using tools including RaisersEdge/NXT, LinkedIn, institutional annual reports, and other resources to creatively identify potential new high-capacity prospects.
    • Additional responsibilities to support the development and alumni work of the school will be added over time

    Candidates should have:

    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
    • Understanding of LCA's mission and goals, and the ability to articulate the school's values and importance in the independent school landscape.
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with the expectations of the Head of School and Director of Development, and established school policies and procedures.
    • Ability to plan, set priorities, and implement work in a disciplined manner to keep multiple projects progressing to completion simultaneously with minimal direction.
    • Strong computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation creation, social networking, and web-based technologies. The ability and willingness to adapt and upgrade computer skills if needed; and ability to quickly learn and utilize new technologies.

    Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience and/or qualifications. Competitive benefits package is also available.
