    Default job background
    Description
As the US Country Manager at BoostDraft Inc., you will be at the forefront of propelling our growth trajectory. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with the CEO, Head of Enterprise Sales, and other key professionals across departments.

Your leadership will be instrumental as we strive to achieve substantial growth and scale our business to $500 million in the United States.

Your strategic guidance and direction will be crucial in accomplishing our ambitious objectives and establishing a strong presence in the US market.

    Who we are:

BoostDraft is a pioneering software engineering firm revolutionizing the legal drafting landscape with our AI-assisted document editor, effectively eliminating inefficiencies.

Founded two years ago by graduates from MIT and Stanford, our initial focus was primarily on the Japanese market.

However, within this short span, we've witnessed remarkable growth, boasting over 7,500 paid users, with 17 out of the top 20 largest law firms now utilizing our software.

Our success in Japan has largely been fueled by word-of-mouth referrals, as we've employed minimal marketing efforts. Additionally, we've secured numerous long-term, large-scale contracts with renowned enterprises and law firms. As a result, we have been highly profitable from Day 1 and have experienced exponential growth without outside funding.

    Why BoostDraft needs you:
As we expand into the US market, we've received encouraging feedback from American legal professionals. Nonetheless, it's important to acknowledge that there are nuanced differences between the Japanese and US markets that we're navigating.

Our CEO is currently overseeing the US business, while simultaneously managing a variety of areas, such as product development, R&D and other markets.

Therefore, we want you to join our team as the US country manager, reporting to the CEO and co-founder, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit to establish and lead our business in the United States.

    What you will do:
Everything to achieve product market fit: Currently the US team is small. We only have two sales people generating leads.

    Lead Generation, Pilot and Feedback:
In order to improve a product, we need a lot of feedback from users. Getting feedback is tough. You should leverage your own network and ask them to use the software.

    Oversee sales and operations activities:
You don't have to do everything by yourself. You can work with your team members to achieve product market fit.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams: In order to achieve product market fit,you should collaborate closely with strategy and operations, product development, and executives, to ensure alignment and synergy in executing market strategies and driving customer satisfaction.

Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to expand our business into new accounts. Identify and prioritize target accounts, establish strategic partnerships, and implement initiatives to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.

    Recruit right people :
We understand you are not capable of everything, but you should be capable to know what is missing as a team, allocate the limited resource in the best way, and recruit the right people understanding the stage of business

    Entrepreneurship :

You should have the entrepreneurial mindset, doing everything that is needed – i.e., strong ownership, believing in 1% possibility of success.

    Communication skill:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with English.
    Strong leadership

and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
    Strategic thinker

with the ability to look at the big picture, analyze data and make informed decisions.

    Sales:
Be an exceptional sales leader. This means having achieved exceptional results in your sales career.

    Legal industry expertise :
You can communicate with the legal industry fluently.
We can discuss compensation but the target compensation is around 150k-250k including commission. Stock options will be provided because we want to align your incentive with our company's growth. As we grow, we will increase the compensation.
Great learning and career growth opportunities await as you work closely with the founders and exceptional team members.
Experience a highly international working environment, where half of the employees come from outside Japan.

Engage in numerous opportunities to interact with industry leaders who are dedicated to delivering products that offer an exceptional user experience.
