    The Email Marketing Coordinator holds a pivotal role in shaping and executing our email marketing strategies, ensuring effective communication for Songtrust, and focusing on servicing the independent music creator segment. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Marketing, this role is responsible for leading measurable initiatives that educate and promote Songtrust services to key target customers.

    The role demands a blend of strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and innovative execution across email. Strong project, time, and organizational skills are essential to be successful in this role.

    This hybrid position can be located in any of our offices in the following cities: New York, Nashville, Los Angeles

    What you'll be doing:

    • Perform day-to-day email marketing and communications-related activities, including but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, and deployment of content-driven campaigns in Hubspot
    • Manage subscriber lists and segmentations to personalize and target campaigns effectively
    • Assist in developing and monitoring automated workflows
    • Analyze KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of email marketing initiatives. Use data-driven insights to refine and maximize campaign impact
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop email marketing campaigns, and proactively contribute new ideas and recommendations aligned with marketing objectives
    • Regularly audit and A/B test various elements within campaigns to refine and improve email performance
    • Understand and adhere to email deliverability best practices
    • Identify email opportunities to improve both lead and customer feedback loops
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to enhance email marketing strategies

    After 3 months you'll have:

    • Revised and implemented best email practices for existing email campaigns and landing pages
    • Successfully launched new emails for currently queued campaigns
    • Have a strong understanding of lead/client audience segmentation, as well as the Songtrust value propositions and how to present that information to the various segmented audiences

    You are / have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign performance data
    • Creative mindset to conceptualize and design visually appealing emails
    • Familiarity with writing copy and email marketing platforms/tools is a plus
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners
    • Passion for music and the entertainment industry is a plus

    Downtown provides base salary ranges for all positions located in the United States at the time of posting. The hiring range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon various factors including, but not limited to, work experience, geographic location and relevant skills. Downtown is committed to providing a comprehensive market-competitive total rewards program for its employees which includes medical, dental, and vision, life insurance, 401(k) match and generous paid time off. This range does not include any other variable compensation components.
