    In this role, you will be an integral part of the Professional Services team. You will deliver live training to educators primarily in a virtual setting.

    By assisting with school and district professional learning, you will play a key role in driving the continued success at Nearpod.

    The Associate Trainer is a crucial part of a customer's journey to understanding the Nearpod and Flocabulary digital teaching platform, implementing key strategies, and making applications directly to their classroom or environment.

    Additionally, you will have ongoing opportunities to collaborate with other members of the Professional Services team in various aspects of the PD planning process, such as, developing learning objectives for sessions, PD content creation, follow-up resources and support.


    As a Professional Development Associate Trainer, you will:
    + Delivering high quality training to educators based on adult learning principles and best practices. + Collaborating in the development and maintenance of training materials such as storyboards, facilitator notes, and presentations. + Provide timely and relevant resources as follow-up to professional learning sessions. + Maintain customer records in customer relationship management software systems (salesforce). + Understand the challenges that teachers face and demonstrate how our technology solution can impact student success through training.

    For this role as a Professional Development Associate Trainer, you must have:
    + Degree or equivalent experience in Education or related field preferred, bachelor's degree required. + 4 years of proven experience in education - classroom or administrative. + An understanding of adult learning principles and best practices strategies. + A passion for bringing technology into the classroom as well as a desire to learn about educational technology and professional development trends. + Excellent writing, presentation, and facilitation skills. + Great attention to detail and organization skills. + Ability to travel 50%-75% of the time.


    Preferred:
    + Experience working in a SaaS environment is a plus. + Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required. All your information will be kept confidential.


    Salary Range:

    • $56,100 - $60,000 This range is based on national market data and may vary by location
