- Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND Two years of advanced professional human resources experience in one or more of the areas of assignment
- OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND Four years of advanced professional human resources experience, One year of which as a lead worker in one or more of the areas of assignment
- OR One year of experience required at the lower-level HR Spec 3 (HRP022) or position equivalent.
- Extensive demonstrated experience specifically in Classification and Compensation with emphasis on the collection of accurate labor market data and interpretation of the data
- Professional experience in full-cycle hiring with emphasis on interview and selection
- Demonstrated experience providing technical guidance regarding HR policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to plan, distribute, and monitor work assignments
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills in communicating effectively with management, co-workers, and diverse groups of people both internally and externally
- Demonstrated experience in developing innovative or creative recruiting strategies that drive overall business effectiveness
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs to effective strategies
- Proficient with time management – i.e., multi-tasking – adherence to deadlines – accuracy
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills; identifies and analyzes problems; gathers, interprets, and evaluates information to determine its accuracy and relevance; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives and recommend a solution
- Demonstrated competency to organize work and set priorities with the willingness to adapt to change and conform to shifting priorities to meet deadlines.

- Current Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
