Job Title: Site Support Technician at SAIC

SAIC is seeking a dedicated Site Support Technician to join our team at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) in Washington, DC. As a Site Support Technician, you will be the go-to person for technical assistance and support for PBGC staff onsite and remotely.

Job Duties:

Provide technical support for computer systems, software, hardware, and networking.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
Manage user accounts and access permissions in line with company policies.
Collaborate with IT team members to enhance system performance and security.
Offer feedback and customer support for product performance problems.
Document all IT support activities accurately.

Qualifications:

Degree in a related discipline or High School diploma with relevant experience.
Proficiency in computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
Familiarity with help desk software and ticketing systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Customer-focused with a commitment to exceptional service.
