    Description

    Job Title: IT Support Technician at Marathon TS

    Marathon TS is looking for an IT Support Technician to join their team and provide support to a federal client in Washington, DC.

    • Provide 2nd level escalation support to the Tier 1 Help Desk.
    • Offer remote and on-site troubleshooting for hardware and software support.
    • Resolve Call Center Tech Support tickets and provide desk-side support to the client's customers.
    • Install, monitor, troubleshoot, and support various technical equipment and systems.
    • Document Incidents and Work Orders efficiently.
    • Provide specialized service to VIPs when necessary.
    • Coordinate and update all incidents and requests diligently.
    • Track work, inventory, and projects using a ticketing system.
    • Participate in new project testing and deployment.
    • Travel to client sites in the National Capitol Region as required.
    • Collaborate with vendors for troubleshooting and repairs.
    • Participate in project deployments.
    • Update knowledge base and assist in asset movement.
    • Coordinate equipment logistics and maintain organized storage areas.
    • Close tickets according to service level agreement requirements.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
    • Minimum 4 years' experience in desk side services.
    • MCP and CompTIA certifications.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Management Console tools and more.
    • Self-motivated to learn and improve technology and business skills.
    • Experience with VMWare, VOIP, Office 365, and more.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
