- Identifies state and community colleges, school districts, and eligible schools within the assigned region for collaboration and participation in the project. Develops and executes memorandum of understanding and commitment letters from principals at participating schools.
- Conducts needs assessments to identify services needed for potential partners. Coordinates the delivery of programs and services to provide opportunities and improve college readiness in the region.
- Designs, develops, and implements programs for middle and high school teachers, counselors, parents, and students in the region.
- Develops individual school site action plans including personnel and material needs.
- Plans, schedules, and hosts focus groups, student and teacher training, and large group meetings.
- Provides programs, guidance, and resources that empower students with knowledge and skills necessary for academic readiness and success.
- Acts as a College liaison for programs and services with outside agencies or community leaders. Communicates with targeted school personnel regarding the program and maintains participant data.
- Collaborates with the leadership at colleges and school districts within the region to gather data to prepare reports related to the grant and performance analysis, including current and historical efforts and assessments to determine the effectiveness of the program activities and outcomes.
- Maintains current knowledge of field or profession. Travels to training workshops, conferences, meetings, and professional events.

- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of related full-time experience
- Experience working in or collaborating with a K-12 school system
- Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
- Products and resources available to prepare students for college

About this role
Responsible for developing and delivering specially designed services to prepare middle and high school students with equal and equitable opportunities to take full advantage of education opportunities, college access, and completion. Develops and maintains a collaborative partnership in an assigned region with the leadership of Florida College System institutions and school districts. This is a grant-funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon grant funding. Responsible for grant management and implementing FLP deliverables in their assigned area - Region 3 - East Central FL collaborating with School Districts, Florida Colleges, and Community Partners.
