    Job Summary: The Branch Service Manager is responsible for managing work in the service area, setting production goals, supervising, training, and evaluating service employees.
    • Essential Functions:
    • - Develops effective productivity and teamwork for Legendary Customer Service
    • - Models and promotes HOLT's Values-Based Leadership
    • - Manages, develops, and evaluates service personnel
    • - Communicates and monitors service department policies
    • - Plans work, enforces procedures, and recommends improvements
    • - Manages expenses and fleet maintenance
    • - Ensures safety compliance and performs assigned duties
    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • - Mechanical background with engine and electrical systems
    • - Extensive knowledge of construction and lifting equipment
    • - Quality control and operation skills
    • - Ability to make judgment decisions and prioritize
    • - Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
    • - Recordkeeping and document control abilities
    • Education and Experience:
    • - Five to eight years of related experience preferred
    • - Aerial lift and fork lift certification required
    • - High school/trade school diploma preferred
    • - Valid driver's license
    • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • - Supervises shop and field service technicians
    • - Provides input for evaluations and career development
    • Travel:
    • - Less than 10% travel per year with some overnight stays, mainly for training
    • Physical Requirements:
    • - Must be able to move objects and carry equipment
    • - Constant movement and good manual dexterity required
    • - Climbing ladders and ability to work underneath equipment
    • - Reacting to signals, alarms, visually inspecting work
    • Work Environment:
    • - Works indoors and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions
    • - Noise levels may be loud, exposure to chemicals and high-speed equipment
    • - Spends time in confined spaces and at heights
