Coordinator, Safety Information (Fragrance)

Job Summary:

Essential Job Functions:

Able to work independently, however, seeks advice of supervisor when it is needed.
Will coordinate with supervisor for implementing any changes to the safety information on fragrance division chemicals.
Contact suppliers for safety and regulatory information on fragrance raw materials.
Follow-up with suppliers for missing and additional safety and regulatory information.
Maintain storage of safety and regulatory information on fragrance raw materials.
Maintain safety and regulatory information on fragrance raw materials in the CheckCis system.
Provide assistance to the Fragrance Safety Assurance Specialist(s)/Assistant(s), such as assist fragrance safety reviews based upon industry, customer and regulatory requirements.

Educational Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a science (e.g. toxicology, biology, chemistry or related) preferred.

Experience: 0-3 years administrative experience. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Competencies:

Strong organizational skills are required.
Computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office).
Must be able to work without supervision, and take initiative.
Follow-up skills.
Excellent communication skills.
