A beautiful hospital located in the Bronx, New York is seeking a full-time permanent CT Technologist to join their dynamic medical team. You'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality radiographic exams and aiding accurate patient diagnoses.
Pay: up to $61/hourly; depending on experience
CT Technologist Position Overview:
The CT Technologist, under the direct supervision of a radiologist, is responsible for performing Cat Scan Procedures at a proficient technical level that does not necessitate constant oversight of technical details.
CT Technologist Responsibilities:
-Conduct CAT scan procedures as directed by a radiologist, showcasing technical expertise and adherence to established protocols.
-Autonomously perform diverse technical procedures, ensuring precise utilization of ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging.
-Assume responsibility for specific areas and procedures, upholding patient safety and care standards.
-Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients, offer relevant information, and guarantee accurate procedure completion.
CT Technologist Qualifications:
-High School Diploma; Associate's degree in Radiology preferred.
-Completion of formal Radiology technology program
-CT certification by ARRT required.
-Valid New York state license with Injection registration.
-Proficiency in CT equipment operation, radiology safety, and patient communication.
