- Under the guidance of the Director, manages the annual outcomes assessment process using HelioCampus technology.
- Works with campus departments to review, evaluate, write, and complete annual outcomes assessment, including learning outcomes, program outcomes, and administrative outcomes.
- Assists in the coordination of assessment training activities.
- Handles the administration of campus-wide surveys, and gathers both qualitative and quantitative data for analysis to support unit, sector and institutional goals.
- Designs reports and presentations to share assessment results across the sector and campus.
- Maintains the confidentiality and security of all institutional and system data.
- Participates in meetings and task forces as appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum two years' experience in educational technology and/or data management or analysis.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines and leverage strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Master's degree
- Knowledge of SPSS
- Understanding of academic assessment and research processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Learning Management Systems (preferably D2L Brightspace).

Job Summary:
The Research Foundation for SUNY at Purchase College seeks applications for a Assessment Coordinator, working 80% of time, in the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment. The Assessment Coordinator supports institutional effectiveness functions related to planning, assessment, and evaluation of the work in support of student services and engagement. The Assessment Coordinator will support an evidence-based culture of improvement with clearly articulated goals and intended outcomes with well-established metrics and milestone markers. The Assessment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with functional areas to support the annual assessment process, utilizing assessment technology that supports the gathering, comprehending and analysis of student learning and programmatic data; training stakeholders in the platform; and developing meaningful reports to inform progress and future actions. In addition, this position supports campus survey administration, as well as the analysis and visualization of survey data.

Salary: $56,000 at an 80% FTE
