    Equitable Advisors is currently seeking to onboard a new Retirement Benefits Group (RBG) Financial Professional. As an entry level RBG Financial Professional, you can accelerate your own success.

    Your primary focus will be providing financial products and services, as well as education to those who build and serve our communities, such as:


    • Teachers
    • School administrators
    • Municipality employees

    What it takes to be an Equitable Advisors' Financial Professional

    With a wide range of successful Financial Professionals, prior educational focus and professional background does not necessarily dictate success.

    We see success with people directly out of college, frustrated professionals looking to begin new career opportunities and those already in the financial services industry seeking a more comprehensive platform.

    • A four-year college degree is preferred but not required
    • You will be required to obtain state Life and Health licenses and pass the FINRA SIE before joining. Then you will be required to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations onyour own time but no later than within 240 days of joining.
    • Results-driven, highly motivated, self-starter who possesses integrity, a strong work ethic and the desire to help others plan for and protect their financial futures
    • Team player who possesses excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities, with a high degree of self-confidence
    • Ability to draw upon past/present experiences and acquaintances to develop markets and sustain long-term relationships
    • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States

    Paid training


    During your first week of Preliminary Employment Period onboarding and learning our products and digital platforms, your pay will range from $620-$718.


    • Compensation you control after your first week
    After your first week of employment, you will no longer receive fixed pay.

    Rather, as an outside salesperson, your compensation will be paid solely by commission on the sale of various financial products and calculated in accordance with the Company's commission schedule.

    In previous years, commission has ranged from $0-$125K during the first calendar year.


    Upon successful completion of the Preliminary Employment Period, you will be eligible to become a 20th Edition Financial Professional and you can choose to be paid one of two ways: Base Salary of $24,000 per year plus reduced commission and performance bonus opportunities or Full Commission plus bonus.

    Commissions are calculated in accordance with the Company's commission schedules and will vary depending on the financial product sold.

    After your first 90 days as a Preliminary Employment Program ("PEP") Prospective Associate, you may be eligible for medical insurance through our company-sponsored Health Plan at your sole expense.

    Thereafter, and upon successful completion of your first 240 days, you will be eligible to become a 20th Edition Financial Professional and, in that role, will be eligible to participate in a variety of comprehensive benefit plans sponsored by the company:

    Health Plan (medical, dental, and vision insurance at company-subsidized rates (as applicable)); 401(k) Plan with company match; Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP); Short- and Long-Term Disability Programs; Basic Group Life Insurance; and Transportation Reimbursement Incentive Program ("TRIP").

    To get started as a Financial Professional, Equitable Advisors will sponsor your pursuit of the licensing requirements, and our training curriculum is designed to provide the skills and tools you need for the opportunity to succeed.

    Our training program consists of training across numerous areas:
    client management skills, sales skills, market development, product knowledge, technology systems and core practice management systems.
