The Research Analyst Role and Responsibilities
Wasatch Global Investors is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Value Research Analyst to join our dynamic team.
As a Global Value Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in conducting in-depth research and analysis on global equity markets, identifying investment opportunities, and providing valuable insights to support our investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on global equity markets, focusing on identifying undervalued securities and potential investment opportunities across various industries and regions.
Build financial models and projections to determine how changes in business trends and operating assumptions may impact a company's long-term return profile.
Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including management interviews, site visits, and competitor analysis, to assess risk factors and validate investment theses.
Work closely with portfolio managers and other investment team members to contribute to the overall investment process and share insights that drive superior investment performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or progress towards CFA designation preferred.
3+ years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or related fields, preferably with a focus on global markets and value investing.
Understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable conclusions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, with a solid commitment to excellence and integrity.
Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and other analytical tools; familiarity with Bloomberg terminal and other research platforms preferred.
