    What You'll Do

    We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee and execute regional sales strategies that align with our overall business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development efforts, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring performance accountability within the region. Your focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining customer satisfaction, and effectively managing performance metrics to drive growth and success.

    • Business Development: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue business opportunities within the region. This includes conducting market research, generating leads, and converting leads into sales. Develop and implement strategies to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.
    • Customer Success: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the region by understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services. Provide excellent customer service through effective communication, regular updates, and proactive problem-solving. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing their concerns and delivering solutions that meet their requirements.
    • Performance Accountability: Monitor key performance metrics to assess sales performance and drive continuous improvement. Set clear performance targets and objectives for the sales team and work collaboratively to meet or exceed expectations. Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize sales performance.
    • Risk Management: Evaluate the organization's capabilities and identify any limitations or potential risks within the region. Develop contingency plans and alternative solutions to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity. Proactively identify and address challenges that may impact sales operations and implement effective risk management strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
    • 5+ years of sales experience
    • 2+ years of sales experience within the food industry.
    • Understand food industry-specific trends and landscapes.
    • Experience in negotiating simple to complex agreements with a detailed understanding of operations, finance, and the evaluation of terms, pricing, order requirements, and service level standards.
    • Must manage project timelines, acquiring and allocating resources, ensuring quality deliverables, effective communication, and project risk management.
    • Proficient at analyzing data and developing strategies based on findings, and support change management with the organization.
    • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills required with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Highly motivated, ability to prioritize and self-direct, strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
